The Adventures of Hermana Patten: Part 6

  Ah hola amigos!!  I feel like it's been forever since I've written because so so much has happened! Because of that, this email will probs be pretty long. Just a forewarning. You can definitely just skip to the pictures at the end if you want, I know that was a favorite pastime of mine as a non missionary lol. Anyways, if you do, just know that God loves you so much for ever and always!!! Okay... so since I last wrote, I finished at the CCM/MTC (duh, I'm in Nevada now haha). Our last couple days went a little like this: - Lots of goodbyes (and tears). We said goodbye to Hermano Santiago and Hermana Sanchez, our teachers and that hurt because they were so amazing. On Sunday, we said goodbye to most of our district. Monday, we said goodbye to the rest. (BTW, Monday was probably the weirdest day of my life because we had NO SCHEDULE and so much time... with not a lot of stuff to do). The Adventures of Hermana Patten: Part 5

  Hola amigos!  I hope you all had the most fantastic week ever!  ALSO EVERYONE SEND ME YOUR FAVORITE SCRIPTURE IN THE BOOK OF MORMON (someone had the idea to highlight all the favorite verses of all my favorite people and that includes all of you). My week was un poco loco but was so so good! - One of our teachers got COVID which was a fat rip buttt our sub was so fun. I don't know how much I learned but we did so many relay races that I'm probably ready for the olympics. We also did a blindfolded trust exercise where my companions let me run into a cement wall. Go figure. Don't worry, no lasting damage and Hermana Sanchez (our original teacher) is back now. - We played SO much volleyball. Honestly, I'm probably ready for the olympic volleyball team as well. Only downside was the ball to the face that made my mouth bleed (again, don't worry, no lasting damage). - Played the piano in the mega devotional, didn't die.
